Hybrid Energy Systems and BESS

MCT delivers end-to-end hybrid energy and BESS projects for utility-scale and C&I applications across MEA.

From load profiling and bankability analysis through engineering, procurement, integration, and witnessed commissioning, we turn intermittent generation into dispatchable, revenue-stacking assets with one integrated team.

Project process

Phase 1

01

Load & Generation Profile Analysis

Energy demand modelling, solar yield assessment, tariff structure review, and use-case definition (peak shaving, arbitrage, backup, grid services).

02

System Architecture & Sizing

Battery chemistry selection, PCS sizing, round-trip efficiency modelling, financial modelling and bankability analysis.

Phase 2

03

Engineering & Integration Design

Single-line diagrams, protection coordination, EMS logic design, interconnection studies, and integration with existing PV or grid infrastructure.

04

Procurement & Logistics

Tier-1 battery, PCS and transformer sourcing. Container, fire suppression and HVAC specification. Cold-chain logistics for cells.

Phase 3

05

Installation & Commissioning

Civil works, container placement, MV cabling, PCS integration, EMS configuration, and grid synchronisation under utility witness testing.

06

Performance Validation & Handover

Capacity testing, round-trip efficiency verification, dispatch trials, warranty registration, and O&M transition.

Key benefits

Dispatchable clean power

Convert intermittent solar into firm, schedulable energy. Shift midday generation to evening peak, ride through grid outages, and unlock new revenue streams.

Multi-use case stacking

One asset, multiple revenue layers: peak shaving, frequency regulation, capacity firming, and arbitrage. Designed to maximise lifetime value, not single-purpose deployment.

Technology-neutral integration

Vendor-agnostic on battery chemistry (LFP, NMC), PCS, and EMS. We specify based on cycle life, safety profile, and project economics, not supplier relationships.

Bankable safety & compliance

IEC 62933, UL 9540A, and NFPA 855 alignment. Fire detection, thermal runaway mitigation, and warranty management built into design from day one.
