MCT has officially started construction of a 93 MWp solar plant — one of the largest developments in the Sultanate of Oman.

  • Full EPC and long-term O&M by MCT
  • Commercial operation targeted for 2026

Regional impact

Once operational, the project is expected to power the equivalent of tens of thousands of users and to support Oman’s national targets for renewable generation under its energy transition strategy.
