Mustakbal clean tech provided (a Sudan-based contractor) support for the design, procurement, construction supervision, QA/QC and commissioning of 2 x 5MWp PV projects in Fashir and Diaen. The two plants are each connected to a 17MW diesel generator micro-grid, utilizing a fuel save controller furnished by SMA. The plant is comprised of a fixed tilt system, together with SMA string inverters. Mustakbal supported the quality assurance measures for mechanical and electrical works, and inspected the LV works during installation and prior to commissioning of the PV plant to assure the utility prior to connection. Class room and field training sessions were held in Jordan and in Sudan to educate the project sponsor and the contractor on PV system design, installation, operation and maintenance considerations.
